The Process
Teams consisting of 3-4 students are given the freedom to choose any stock listed on any North American exchange that has a market capitalization greater than USD $1 Billion. Each team will be given the requirements for their stock pitch 7 days prior to the conference.
Presentations will take place on the second day of the conference. Each group will present in front of a panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals. The presentation is 15 minutes in length followed by a 10 minute Q&A session.
All teams will also participate in preparing the crisis case on the third day. They will have 90 minutes to prepare their deliverables and have an allotted time for their presentation which includes the question and answer session.
Prior to the presentations, the order of the presentations will be announced and will be presenting in front of a new set of judges. The winners will be announced that evening at the Gala.

Why Apply?
Participating delegates are already one step closer to reaching their dream careers as they showcase their analytical, technical, and presentation skills to solve real life financial issues to judges. These judges are comprised of experienced professionals in the fields of Finance and software. Delegates are taking part in a challenging case competition right in the heart of the financial district of Toronto. Additionally, the judges will provide feedback to the delegates to ameliorate their presentation and case solving skills, as well as network with the delegates. Delegates will have the opportunity to compete among students from other top universities, and participate in workshops that will further develop their skills. Battle on Bay provides the opportunity to meet fellow like-minded business students and provides a platform to share ideas and broaden the professional network of delegates. We strive to ameliorate this year’s conference, in the hopes of providing all delegates, sponsors, and esteemed guests with a competition experience paralleled by none.

Case Competition
With 7 days to prepare the initial case and 90 minutes to cut the crisis case, delegates’ business acumen, teamwork, and communication will be put to the greatest test while competing against some of the best schools around Canada.

Enjoy the city and other accommodations during the three-day conference as it is held in the heart of Downtown Toronto, amidst many popular attractions. All venues and locations for the events are in convenient proximity to each other.
